The Master Suite provides a private escape, while the Family Suite/Game Room features a queen Murphy bed, bunk beds, and a full bath, with Juliet balcony. Enjoy a wraparound deck, private dock, and fire table. Located 10 min from Trinidad, 20 minutes from Athens, and 30 min from Corsicana & Gun Barrel City. Book now for the perfect lake getaway! This retreat is equipped for both long or short stays to make your vacation one to remember.
New upgrades include new appliances, adding a new bathroom and mudroom/office area, in addition to remodeling the guest bathroom and master suite. The new HVAC and spray foam insulation make the house very comfortable.
Enjoy the outdoors right in the living room with the covered deck and full sliding doors with the lake right there. The view from the deck will take you down the cove and is just relaxing to take in the morning sun with some coffee or watch the fish as they jump out of the water.
Please excuse our dock. It is the original dock that was built with the house back in the 70's. We are on a waitlist to get it rebuilt and hope to have it done by end of next spring/summer. The dock is still usable, and we enjoy fishing from it on most nights.
We are located in the back part of a very quiet cove. The fishing is terrific even from the bank. You will see fish jumping most days.
The grocery stores near us are small and honestly a bit pricey. We typically will order Walmart delivery from the Walmart in Gun Barrel City. It is very convenient and we don't have to worry about stopping to get groceries on our way down or the next morning. Saves time and if you have Walmart+ you don't pay a delivery fee, just need to tip (remember we are 30 minutes from the Walmart)
There are 3 larger towns within 30 minutes of us. Gun Barrel City, Athens, and Corsicana. If you are looking for restaurants any of those will have what you are looking for and I will have a few of those for each town in the welcome book when you arrive.
