Ours is a quiet neighborhood. Pets are welcome. We do request dogs to stay on leash since they will encounter one another on our property and when walking to the beach.
Birch bay is all about beach life: Strolling on the beach, kayaking, shell fish harvesting (in season) and going to the nearby restaurants. The food scene is small, but often includes live music. The beach side restaurants are about 2 miles north, where you'll also find a coffee shop with local arts and crafts for sale. We also enjoy old car shows, music, art, and food vendors.
Blaine is 10 minutes north and offers more restaurants, a grocery store, post office, a Starbucks, and fast food.
Getting Around:
Car is, of course, easiest.
However, bus 75 from Ferndale comes straight here and drops you off at the C Shop which is .6 of a mile from here.
Once you get here, you could make arrangements to borrow our bikes.
